Osa/Dare

Over the past year, The Civic Imaginaries team have been collaborating with colleagues at the University Bologna Laboratorio Carta research group. Established in 2006, CARTA develops interdisciplinary strategies for urban regeneration and the care of common goods, focusing on sustainability, spatial justice and the participation of local communities. With funding from the University of Glasgow International Partnership Development scheme, ERASMUS+ and UKRI, we have engaged in a series of knowledge exchange visits, webinars and seminars. We are hosting an academic panel on the topic of urban intermediaries at the World Planning Schools Congress in Helsinki (June 30 – July 3^rd, 2026), developing joint publications and further research exchanges. This page, which we are provisionally calling Osa/Dare, will chart our progress and document our upcoming activities.
